    Hi,

    As I can’t get the top filter bar to display with my custom query I am going to try another solution but I need to know how to define a parent page for the default event page (the page with the list and month views). The parent page’s slug is actualite. Could you help me?

    Thanks!

  • Hey @epipo,

    You can’t set a parent page, but you can create a custom page template and call it withing The Events Calendar‘s settings Events → Settings → Display.

    You’ll need to set it to global use like:

    <?php /* Template Name: Example Template */ ?>

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

    I do have one last question though. I have used the default-template.php as my page template but when I use it the page only shows the loading spinner. Here is a screenshot of the page: https://cloudup.com/cl337xqiP9w.

    Can you help?

    Thanks!
