Add parent product also into feed?

    Hi there,

    when having a variation product (say a tshirt comes in 3 colors) -> obviously I will add each variation into the feed as a product (each also has a unique URL and Gtin) and they are linked via the item_group_id value. BUT: Should/must I also add the “neutral” parent product into the feed (which does not have a GTIN)?
