Add PO to Invoice

    I have a plugin which generates PDF invoices and I’ve been able to add the PO number generated by this plugin to the invoices, the issue I have is that when it generates the invoice initially the PO number isn’t added, it only appears on the invoice if I manually regenerate the invoice after.

    I contacted the developer of that plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-pdf-invoices/22847240) and they said to me:

    “Well your other plugin needs to hook into the invoice genreation BEFORE our plugin does – this can only be done in your other plugin. Contact the dev for this.”

    Do you know how I would do this? My code knowledge is limited so have no idea where to start.

    I’ve messaged the author of that plugin asking when it hooks so I can look at hooking this one earlier but I’m not sure it’s going to be possible.

    Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s possible to do. This has to hook into the checkout actions – it can’t be done any earlier.
