    Hi @wpbetsy,

Thank you for contacting support, kindly check the codex as told before also everything is mentioned in the codex. For adding user points manually navigate to admin->users and from there you can select which point you want to adjust the points by clicking on adjust balance.

Codex Link for adjusting balances: https://codex.mycred.me/chapter-ii/adjusting-balances/

    Thank You!

When I clicked “adjust”, it didn’t pop up the box for editing the balance point.

When I clicked “history”, it went to a page “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

    Hi @wpbetsy,

Kindly share a screenshot of your console log when you click on the adjust button so we will be able to detect what might be causing the popup to not load. Also make sure the user through which you are updating other user should have the privileges to update balances or is an admin.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

The error code in your console states 403 forbidden means your server is blocking the admin-ajax request to open the popup can you show this to your host provider so that they can help you resolve the issue.

    Thanks!

The hosting company said, “I believe they are wrong. Have them sent a url that shows a 403 error.

There should be a log of a 403 error there is not.

It may be your .htaccess please see my last response.”

    Hi @wpbetsy,

Can you show them the console log same you showed to me in the screenshot above. Also your htaccess file is located at your root directory so they told you to check that file.
Show the same screenshot to them.

    Thanks!

I did show them the console log, said, “I believe they are wrong. Have them sent a url that shows a 403 error.

There should be a log of a 403 error there is not.”

I can’t open the htaccess file.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

I can also see a cache plugin which minifies js and css files so that might also be a conflict please disable the wp fastest cache plugin then check if the issue still persists.

    Thanks!

When I clicked “history”, it went to a page “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Why could I, as admin, view the “history” of every users?

    Hi @wpbetsy,

This might be an issue on your end but on our end everything works fine we cannot debug the issue while it’s only on your end. Also this can be an issue with your host again not allowing query tags inside url. Only you are facing too many issue with our plugin so there might be something on your end blocking myCred functions.

    Thanks!

    Really, @wpexpertsio?

Excuse me @wpbetsy but the author is in trouble here.

    *Drinks coffee*

Now I need to go back, redact all of the replies that you send users off forums. I have also flagged your account so everything you post here will need to be approved by a moderator and when you @ an account, no notification will be sent out.

Here’s why. You’re walking around this and that’s not cool. You need to stop that.

@wpexpertsio I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

Complying with the forum guidelines isn’t optional here. It’s a condition of having your plugins hosted on the WordPress repo.

Please contact the plugins team if this is unclear to you. For the time being your account will remain flagged.
