Add post count to homepage filter links

    I love this theme, and it’s almost perfect for me ??

    Is there a way to include the post count next to the filter links on the homepage?
    My homepage is set to “latest posts”.

    I’ve been experimenting with template-tags.php in a child theme but with no success.

    So for example, it would say “Show all, Filter example one (15), Filter example two (8)

    The functionality I need is similar to the categories list, such as on the Fukasawa theme sidebar.

    I like that feature request! I’ll take a look at including it as an option when I release my next Eksell update. I can’t make any promises about when that will happen, though.

    I’ve added this feature in version 1.9 of Eksell, which should be available as an update now. Let me know if it does the trick.

    You’ve made that change really quickly and it works great ??

    There is a minor issue in that empty parent categories return ‘0’ which is technically correct, but in reality when you click them, they contain all their child category posts, so the zero is misleading. An example on my site would be ‘systems’.

    But this is not a big issue though as I can get around it by rethinking how I group my categories.
