Add post excerpt

Hi,

Firstly – great plugin!. I would like to be able to add the post excerpt to the text that shows when you mouseover an image in the layout. The standard text that shows is the title, post date an author. Is there a way of adding post excerpt without modifying the plugin code and making it un-updateable?

Any suggestions much appreciated.
