Add posts from a (different) 2nd blog

Hi,

i have two blogs on my domain and would like to have the last post from the second blog posted somewhere in the first blog, including a link to the second blog.

preferably i’d like it showing in a similar way as the last post in the first blog. I’ve tried adding stuff to the theme *.php files, and i can manage to create duplicate posts on the first blog but i can’t seem to get stuff from the second blog.

Layout:
Each blog has its own folder; i.e. domain/blog1 and domain/blog2
But with blog1 i did the trick that it looks like it’s in the root (copying the index.php and modifying to header location).
Each blog uses a different database in MySql.
This is all hosted locally using LAMP on Gentoo (linux).

Can this be done?
