add posts in catagories w/o all the posts showing at once…

  • Hello out there,

    Does anyone know how to add posts w/o them all becoming one long first page? I was trying to put catagories together, with a few posts per catagory, and would like the catagories and/or post titles to display on the side bar, but not have all these posts continue down the original post… asking too much?

    Template I’m using is: BlueMist 1.3 (generic, but pretty!)

  • To limit the amount of posts on your main post page, go to:

    Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading Settings -> “Blog pages show at most”

    And change the number to a more reasonable one for your needs.
