Add "posts" to a page

Hello community – I am hoping someone can help me as this is a probably a pretty easy thing to do but I just can’t figure it out… I want to add a list of all my articles (posts) on to a static page called “articles”. I have created the page called articles but what coding do i need to add to automatically show an abbreviated version of the article (post)?

abbreviated snippet of article
