Hi,
there is an experimental feature to enable a separate page for product details, instead of using the same page for product list. This will offer you a region to add different meta tag instead of the product list page ones.
I’m working in my spare time on a solution which adds meta tags and meta description to that specific page.
If you’re interested in using the experimental feature, this is how it works:
“Separate Product Detail Page (experimental):” ->
“For SEO you want to specify a separate page with separate text and not want to use the Shop page. Please enter the name for your separate detail page here if needed. The page must contain the shortcode [spreadplugin]! The pagename you might get from the url like …/detailpage/ whereas “detailpage” would be that name. (This behaviour will change in future to make it easier to configure!)”.
