Add products to cart (and adjust qty) from catalogue list

Hey guys. I haven’t worked with WooCommerce before but am considering using it on a new project. Hoping someone with some expertise can help me out.
The workflow I’m trying to recreate is like filling out an order form. Our “Products” page will list 24 product & each product should display some product meta data and must have a “Quantity box” and an “Add to cart” button.
What I’m trying to avoid is sending a user into a “products detail” page to add an item to their cart; I want the user to be able to add an arbitrary number of a product to their cart from the catalogue/gallery.
Double points for an async / AJAX “add to cart” functionality!
Any ideas, plugins?
