add Read More to excerpts

The read more was never implemented – I’ve added a new issue in the Github to add this into v3.0.0

However, if you need to, you will need to write a function to filter crp_excerpt to add the read more link.

Am curious, what did you do?

Clients theme has Elementor and was hoping to avoid using a built in Related Posts feature but found a way to modify it to meet needs using a child theme to survive updates.

The client had the site mock ups made with this existing feature so the design was there so easiest solution was modify their functions…. although I tried to get your plugin in there for the extra features!

If they have their own functions, you can tie that into the plugin to “fetch” related posts and serve it using their functions/widgets etc.
