Add second "what's new" portfolio to homepage

I have the WP Explorer Office Template. This template allows you to have a’what’s new’ section on your homepage (as seen in the picture). This pulls the newest additions from the selected portfolio category and displays them on the main page. I am curious if it would be possible to add another “whats new” section to my homepage below the one I currently have. This would take information from a different portfolio category. Anyone know how to do this?
