Add SEO title with REST API

  • I’m busy working on a website which will get thousands of pages created via the WP REST API. The creation of webpages is working now however I have no idea how I can add the SEO title and the metadescription when I create the page and it’s content.

    Normally I would edit these fields using Yoast SEO but since this site will have many pages doing this job manual isn’t really an option.
    Does anyone have any tips or tricks how I would be able to automate the creation of the SEO title and the meta-description?
