Add site rules/ disclaimers at registration time.

  • Hi All,
    I’m having problems finding if anyone has done this, although I’m sure they have.

    I would like to add a Site Rules/Disclaimer page when people are signing up for an account. Does anyone out there have any information on this?

  • I would suggest modifying the registration page.
    The code at the bottom of wp-register.php seems okay to edit – alternatively, create your own page and link to that from your blog and then from it to the register page.

    Ensure you put the peripheral page outside the WordPress directory or else it may be lost in future updates. Word of caution based on personal experience… minimal intervention with WordPress files…
