• I am usin gthe “Great” theme. The theme is great but I need help customizing it and believe I probably need to add certain code to the theme files (probably as a child theme) to get it to do what I want. The theme has an option to add a slider to the site by adding an image to a page or post and then that image is added as the slider. But when I add the slider it adds the page information as well so I basically get the slider below the nav (what I want)with a title or text option that links to page (not too worried about that but would probably want to remove that as well – I think I saw where this was in one of the php files), then below that I see the same image and the home content. Kind of like seeing a page within a page. It’s repetitive and I don’t need that. The cool thing is you can set a different slider image to show on different pages which is fantastic and exactly what I need, but I just need the image to show and not the link contents or the page contents below it. I want to be able to choose an image for each page I want it to show and still have specific contents for that page to show up without anything extra. Any ideas? Should I be installing a different plugin slider ,etc an if so, how would I put it in the theme to do what I’m asking. I don’t want gaps in-between the slider images and the navigation bar. I don’t want the slider to look like an image just set inside the page.
