Add smaller size, hr separator, square around the note

Hello and congratulation for your work.
I’d like to request some additions:
1. Add a hr separator atop the first note. The said separator shall be left-aligned and 25% of page length (or the like)
2. Make notes smaller in size
3. Surround the footnote pointer with square brackets (like this: [1]), the footnote and the square brackets being superscriptedThe first two request are meant to emulate a book. The third request is meant to make it easier to click the pointer.
Ideally, all of this could be a list of options that people can turn on or off or even change (lenght of the hr, type of surrounding characters…).
Thank you and, once again, congratulation for what is the best footnote implementation I’ve seen so far.
