• Hi,
I just discovered your plugin and it looks quite good and less complicated then others to setup. We only have about 5 events a year. We would like to have somewhat different fields for our users to fill out in the event registration form.
    specifically:
    1. Last Name
    2. First Name
    3. What type of member are you? And then offer a tick box with four options (they can only click one option).

    Is this possible? Thank you.

    1. Last Name
    2. First Name

    Currently ‘name’ is ‘name’.

But you can change the labels and positions – so name = Last Name and User Defined 1 = First Name

    as an example

    3. What type of member are you? And then offer a tick box with four options (they can only click one option).

This is not a current option. But is on the future plan.
Currently you can have tick boxes, but multiple boxes can be selected,

or a drop down list where a single membership can be selected from the drop down

Thank you very much for the quick reply and tips. The limited option box would be great. I also tried to do it with the drop down list..but as users are not “forced” to select one item, it is easy for them to ignore the question. Is there a way to make this dropped down selection a required field…maybe I’ve overlooked something?

There is no way in the plugin that the dropdown is mandatory, if they choose nothing it will default to the first item.

If you are technical there are ways to make the check boxes mutually exclusive using javascript, but that is a bit of coding.

I’d love to rush an enhancement for you, but at the moment I have quite a bit of paid work I have to prioritise.

The enhancement would be to add a new field type ‘Radio buttons’ as well as ‘Options ( check boxes)’ Radio buttons are mutually exclusive.

Of course, I do understand about priorities! In any case, thank you very much for getting back to me and making your plugin available. (Also if the paid version has these options, I will ask our club to purchase it).
