"Add Song" button not working

Hi bob, can you explain a bit further what you mean by ‘it stopped working’? Like what exactly is not working? Do you get an error message when uploading? Or does it say ‘successfully uploaded’?

Also, you said it was working then suddenly stopped working… is there something that changed on your site around that time or a little before? Like did you run an update? Install a new plugin? Change theme?

Now on your download button question… again please can you clarify what you mean by ‘it’s not working’? Like what exactly are you doing and what isn’t working exactly?

Sure, thanks for the quick response. Nothing happens at all when I click the blue “add song” button in the Add Song section. It’s like there is no link and the button is dead. No errors or anything. Not sure what the problem is.

And… Still curious about the “download” option. Never has worked or even shown up as an option.

Would it help if I gave you the admin login info?

Hi Bob, please try updating to v2.2 released yesterday to see if this fixes your problem with the disappearing button. I implemented several fixes for issues that sound similar (disappearing ‘add’ button) so hoping it’s an odd example of same thing that’s popped up on your site.

Now about Download function. I’m not really understanding what you mean by ‘it has never worked or even shown up’. To implement a download track button follow these steps:
1. Go to display settings and turn ON a button and give it a name like “Download” – this is the text that will appear on the button.

2. On the relevant song in the corresponding button field add the link to the file for download.

3. Save. Test. Report back if it doesn’t work or you don’t understand.
