Add Specific Social Links

I have this problem with all themes not just yours… but I wondered if you could help me to add a social link to this theme?

I don’t know where your social code is written, which php or css file, etc.

I want to add a Goodreads profile link. I am a big book nerd and run a book club, so my friends and family are often interested in the books I have been reading which goodreads provides. I would love to have an icon in the same list as the others, and not just a link on my navbar.

Can you provide this information?
((or can i request it be added to the next update?))

I was almost able to do it before on another theme without support but it never worked exactly right. I got it to add within the customizer by adding the necessary code to the php, but obviously missed a step as it never popped up in the icon bar. So I’m not willing to mess with the code blindly again.
