It would be nice if we could add a custom event more easily (and integrate it with the conversions API).

There is a public function called “inject_purchase_event” but is surrounded by private variables and functions and is not easily extendible.

Perhaps there could be a hook or filter that we could add a trackCustom event more easily that gets both added as a script and sent via API?

    Hi @hnwp,

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, the inject_purchase_event function is designed to work with the set variables and functions within its scope. However, I see how having a hook or filter for adding custom events could be beneficial for developers like you. Please note that writing or providing custom code is not within the scope of our support policy. For development and custom coding questions, it’s best to ask for insight related to those on either the WooCommerce Advanced Facebook group or the WooCommerce Community Slack.
