Add tags to checkout

    Hi guys

    Great plugin. Im trying to tag the subscribers that sign up on woocommerce checkout. Is there any way to do this? Im using the custom integration option and some code I found on your forum here to add a group selection also.

    I need to be able to somehow tag that in MailChimp that this subscriber came from the checkout page and not elsewhere.

    Hey John,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    You can use the code provided at https://github.com/ibericode/mc4wp-snippets/blob/master/integrations/subscriber-tags.php to add tag to a user when they subscribe using “WooCommerce Checkout”.

    Please note that the tag can be added only to a new subscriber and not to existing subscribers.

    Excellent stuff thanks. Just two questions, how do I add multiple tags and also I have several interest groups that they select at checkout and each one needs it sown tags. Is this possible?

    Hey @johnegg,

    You can repeat the line number 10 to add multiple tags.

    Regarding your other question, what do you mean by each interest group needs its own tag?

    Thanks Harish, all sorted now. The client is happy with just 1 tag.
