Add text above featured area on homepage

If you don’t already have a Child_Themes or the theme offers nowhere to put a custom css, then you should install a plugin like Jetpack then add the following to the custom css area…

#section-home-inner::before {
display: block;
content: 'Featured Work';
font-size: 20px;
    font-weight: 700;
    margin-bottom: 12px;
color: #000;
}

To achieve so you need to go under Appearance -> Customize -> Theme options -> Home page featured (off). For better understanding please refer the screenshot-

You need to create your own home page. We do have a knowledge base article which shows exactly how to go about doing this which you may find helpful.
