Add text to the black banner

Hi SmartCat,

I must say, I really like this theme: avenue.
I have a child-theme and made some minor adjusments, becasue it looks great already!

But there is one thing I just can’t figure out. How do I add text (or an image) to the “black” banner?
In the demo (https://smartcatdesign.net/preview/avenue/) I see an image, some text, a list and a “click here” button.

Second question: Is the theme still supported? And is it still updated?
