Add Text Widget to Main container

  • I have Arras, which is a magazine-style theme. It has the slideshow, then various sections below for posts. I would like to have a text widget right below the slideshow in the main container. It seems like I can add a text widget to sidebars and footers, etc., but not the main area itself. Is this in general possible with? (WP 3.0.1, Arras 1.5)
