    And tell me: how quickly does this code get into the plugin’s virus database? How soon will your plugin begin to detect this virus?

    Thank you for the report.

    In the future please send code samples to [email protected]

    We have no timescale on when samples will be added to our database of malware signatures.

    Please also note that if this was found in a database table that Wordfence doesn’t scan then it won’t be detected in the future. Wordfence used to scan the whole database but we had to stop doing that as it was too unstable on hosting providers that restrict server resource usage too much.
