Add the sender’s name to the subjet in the email we get

    Hello when an user send to us a message with this form, in the email we get we want to have the subject: “Message from {name}”
    But seems this does not work, the word {name}is not replaced with the sender’s name.

    I followed suggesstion in other thread belo and changing settinh “Send from one domain” to “No”, replace the sender and email in the From fields BUT it still does not update the {name} in the SUBJECT field, which is the only I want to update.
    Also changing this setting is non a good option because it makes most messages go to spam folder (even when sender send friendly text).

    How can we get this? Is there any way to get the sender’s name in the subject of the email?

    Hi, sorry for the late reply!

    You can change the Name field with the Subject field in Fields tab.

    Your reply was just a missed quick shot. I think actually you didn’t read my question at all, at least with a comprehensive reading.

    Sorry about that! I thought about our counterpart Joomla version which you could use the subject field as that. This is somewhat different in the WordPress version, so I have added the option in Email > Email subject suffix to use Name field as a suffix. Please download the 2.3.4 version to see it.

    It’s really great you updated it to add that feature!

    However I bought this plugin 1 month ago with no support subscription for auto-updates, and I am stuck at version 2.3.2 pro.

    I think that if I download this version 2.3.4 here is the free version.
    There is any way for me to update this to get the sender’s name in subjects, but not to loose the pro features I bought?

    I didn’t receive first reply (in spam folder either) however I sucessfully got it now, and more, I tried the new version and requested feature work great!

    Now there I cannot find any flaw on this PERFECT plugin. Thank you devs!
