@michelplatje – If you are looking for the Lightbox effect you have selected to show the image “title” you would have to make modifications to that Lightbox’s code (we do not provide support for that but its author may be able to help you sort that out).

If you are looking to have the image “Alt&Title” field displayed above the thumbnail alone then you should be able to use a custom template to address that issue. Here is an article that may assist in you creating this custom template: https://imagely.com/docs/templates/

    Thanks!

@michelplatje – Generally I recommend using the “captions” template as a starting point. Just make a copy of the template and save it into the same location.

Here is the “captions” template location: ../wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php

From here you can use this sample as a starting point: https://cloudup.com/i49mJ4tAgGL

The “Alt & Title” field display is noted via a comment as well as the description field. A little bit of trial and error should get you to the point you are looking for as I understand your description of what you are looking for.

For example, (based on the CloudUp file), remove line 42; then move line 41 and insert it at line 31.

    Thanks!

@michelplatje – What attempts have you tried already? If you need some basic PHP / HTML / CSS help there are many good resources that can be found. This site is a great place to start: https://www.w3schools.com

    Thanks!
