Add title to Pinterest posts

  • Just wondering if there is a way for SSS to also pick up the title when submitting to Pinterest. Thanks!

    On the link you shared, the Pinterest button is using the post title for me. For modifying the Pinterest “description”, which is the only text sent to Pinterest, the plugin looks at up to three options:

    1. the custom Pinterest description, if it is set
    2. the alt text for the image used for the Pinterest link, if the image has alt text
    3. if neither of those have content, it will fall back to the post title

    So you can set something specific for the Pinterest description, but the post title will always be the fallback.
