  • Hi there,

At the moment, that’s the only way to remove that button from your event pages since we don’t have any options to do this from our plugin settings.

An alternative to this would be to use CSS to hide the button.

Let me know if this works for you.

    Hi again @szvacek,

If you’re worried about modifying the functions.php file to get the results you want, then here’s an article on our site that you can check out for instructions on removing the “Add to Calendar” button: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/exporting-events/#h-altering-the-single-event-export-behavior

It’s as simple as adding a code snippet to modify the button’s behavior. Please try this and see if it works for you.

    Best regards,

    Marho

I added the “code snippets” plug in and copy/pasted the “remove google calendar link” from the button and it work (surprise!). Is there a snippet to remove the entire button from the page?

    Thanks

Hi @szvacek, thanks for getting back to us here. Yes, the one from the article should remove the button. Good to know that it worked. Let me help you further.

Since you’re new to this, I would suggest a custom CSS snippet to hide the entire button on the archive page and single page. Could you provide me a direct URL to your calendar and single page? This is for me to suggest accurate CSS to match your theme.

Looking forward to helping you with this one.
