Add to cart after update to 3.6.0

I’ve tried on several sites, with different themes, all has problems – all with different setups

i think its a SSL issue somewhere in WooCommerce files

I can confirm the same issue with adding to cart. Nothing happens unless you click the button TWICE.

I also got a 503 error after updating on one site running through WP Engine.

In each case, reverting solved the issue.

We are currently tracking an issue with WP Engine, posted on GitHub:

and WP Engine is aware as we are able to replicate. As soon as we have word of a fix we will post it here!

We hope so too! Currently the issue with 3.6 on WP Engine is that both 502 and 404 errors are happening when logged into the back end, in random places, or not allowing logging in at all. When we have confirmation that it is fixed, if you are still having issues then we can take a look at them too!

@webdepotet if you are still having issues as well, what is your site? Please let me know so we can pull it up and do some testing with adding to cart, to see what happens.

I have the same problem if i use direct links and cart redirect snipet like this

// Redirect on add to cart
function my_add_to_cart_redirect() {
$checkout_url = wc_get_checkout_url();
return $checkout_url;
}
add_filter(‘woocommerce_add_to_cart_redirect’, ‘my_add_to_cart_redirect’, 10, 1 );

Or if i use a plugin to to the redirect

The cart stays empty for the first add to cart action on a fresh session (new browser, no cache). When adding the product again to the cart, it works.

@cristianciuberea are you still having this problem after updating to WooCommerce 3.6.1? Please test as that should resolve the issue.
