    For most of my products, the ‘add to cart’ button takes the shopper to an external website. However, for the products I’m selling myself, clicking the ‘add to cart’ button gives it a tick (and updates on the cart page) but doesn’t take the shopper to the cart and there is no link to the cart on this page. So unless the shopper clicks on the product image picture, they don’t have the option of viewing the cart (and checking out). The products in question on this page are Greensleeves.

  • Hello,

    You can control how customers interact with their cart and the process they will follow after adding items to it.

    You can adjust your WooCommerce settings:

    1. Go to your WordPress Admin area.
    2. Click on WooCommerce > Settings.
    3. From the top tab options, go to ‘Products’.
    4. Click the option “Add to cart behaviour”.
    5. Check the box “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition”.
    6. Save changes.

    Does that make a difference? Let us know how that goes.

    Yes, that’s sorted out that problem – thank you! I have another couple of problems but will put them in a separate thread.
