I’m using this plugin so it can capture the IP and they can buy on their local currency but it’s making it imposible.

    Can you help me?

    Hi @avantiprodu,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I’m not sure if I got the question correctly. Could you please elaborate? Our plugin can show or hide payment gateways depending on your customer’s location. For example, if you’d want to hide the “PayPal” payment gateway from customers from the US. So it only affects the checkout page and should not be related to the add to cart button issue.

    Hi! How are you?

I am having two problems with this plugin.
On the one hand, some students from abroad do not see the option to “add to cart”, although I have configured that for Argentina there are some options and for the rest of the world other payment options, the button disappeared, so they can’t even try to make the purchase. This happens mostly on cell phones.
While others cannot directly access the product, they want to add it to the cart and it tells them that the product is invalid and cannot be purchased.
I need to solve it since it is an online sales page and I am not able to use it for this.

    Thank you!`

    Hi @avantiprodu,

Could you please temporarily disable our plugin and check if the issue is still there? To be honest, I can’t imagine how our plugin could interfere with the “add to cart” button.

    Hi,

I’ve tried it but it didn’t solve the problem, I’ve solved it by using some code.

The problem that persists is that other countries that are not Argentina cannot access the product, they want to add it to the cart and it tells them that the product is invalid and cannot be purchased.
I need to solve it since it is an online sales page and I am not able to use it for this.

    Thanks

    Hi @avantiprodu,

    Sorry for the delay.

Unfortunately, I’m still not sure if I’m getting it correctly. Do you mean that our plugin is causing this issue? Or do you mean that you want to solve this issue by using our plugin? To be honest, I’m not sure about both cases: a) as mentioned, I can’t imagine why our plugin could be affecting the “add to cart” button, and b) I don’t think our plugin can solve this task if the issue is caused by something else.

Please let me know what you think.

    Hi!

I’m using this plugin, it’s already installed on my website. The problem is when customers want to buy from another part of the world, we are in Argentina, it does not allow them to make the purchase since it tells them that it is not possible to add the product to the cart or is not available, but if the IP is changed to Argentina, it works.
We need to solve this problem to sell to our customers around the world.
I don’t know if now it is better understood what the problem is.
    Can help us?

    Thank you!

    Hi @avantiprodu,

Sorry, but I still don’t think I understand. I’ve just tried adding the “Lightroom Classic 2022” product to the cart on your site, and it seems to be working fine. I’ve successfully added it to the cart, placed the order on the checkout page, and was finally redirected to https://www.mercadopago.com.ar/. So all seem ok? My IP is in Europe.

    Hi,

Do you see the paypal option?

    @avantiprodu,

Yes, I see it. I tried selecting it, but it doesn’t load. So that is the issue? If that’s the case, could you please let me know which PayPal payment gateway plugin you use on your site?

    Hi,

I believe that’s the problem then!

    WooCommerce PayPal Payments
    Versión 1.9.1 | Por WooCommerce

That’s the version we’re using. Is this what you need?

    Hi @avantiprodu,

I’ve rechecked your site, and I think I know where the problem is. I can see that your shop’s currency is set to ARS, and as far as I remember, PayPal doesn’t accept ARS as a payment currency, or does it?

Maybe you need a payment gateway currency conversion plugin, e.g., Payment Gateway Currency for WooCommerce? It will allow you to set a different currency for PayPal, for example, USD. And it’s compatible with the “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” plugin. If you are going to try it – please note that you’ll probably need to enable the “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” checkbox in “WooCommerce > Settings > Payment Gateway Currency > Advanced”.

I hope that helps, and please let me know what you think.

    Hi,
    Thanks for you quick response.
I don’t know if I’m using this plugin correctly. But I think it’s working now. Can you help me check? I’m in Argentina and it’s difficult to know.
    But you’re my savior!

    Thanks for all your help,
I’ll test it with my clients and let you know it I have any other problem or if it’s working correctly.

    Hi @avantiprodu,

I’ve checked your site, but unfortunately, it’s still not working. Did you enable the “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” checkbox in “WooCommerce > Settings > Payment Gateway Currency > Advanced”? And if you did – please try clearing the server cache as well.
