I’ve setup a dev testing site to test the upgrade to WordPress 3.9.1 and the new version of Jigoshop.

    Dev Site

Unfortunately it appears that the “add to cart” button doesn’t work at all after the upgrade. I’ve disabled all of the plugins except for headway and Jigoshop and it still fails to work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

@megawebmaster hmm that’s extremely odd. It is a fresh ec2 server I setup specifically for testing the update for WordPresss and Jigoshop so I can’t imagine server config causing this to fail.

Also, before applying the update the add to cart button works as expected on the same server. Let me set it up to before the update that might make it easier for you to figure out the issue.

@jamon909 – if possible – please provide us via [email protected] access to your server to see what’s happening in this case.

Please let me know when it is ready for testing. I have tried many combinations to recreate the issue (even downloaded and tested headway theme you use, of course deleted it afterwards) and everything is working correctly. My only guesses are different PHP version (maybe there is a bug there) or different server configuration.

I will try to setup PHP 5.3.10 with nginx, now I do testing on nginx 1.4.7 and PHP 5.5.11.

    Megawebmaster,
I reported to optart earlier this week that there is an issue with the add to cart when a customer’s browser security setting is set to high. When it is anything below it, the add to cart works. I think it has to do with something about scripts running on the page and such.
Try testing it on IE and change the security setting to High. I tested only with variable products (thats 90% of our products).
Does this add any clarity? or a new finding?

@megawebmaster It’s ready for testing at xcvi2.asgpress.com. This is before I ran the updates and simply a site copy. I changed the URL by doing a search and replace using wp-cli.

Now it appears that the add to cart button also does not work even before the updates. Leading me to believe that perhaps it is a server config issue, a problem with the way I migrated the site, or other environment factors. I’ll have to see what I can do.

Note: The site in ftp is stored under (/var/www). If you do run the update delete jquery updater as it causes a conflict with the easing slider pro plugin. Not sure if this has anything to do with the “add to cart” issue.

@optart I’ve resent the username and password although it’s the same login as before.

@elitistdogg interesting idea I’ll have to test this out. Thanks for the tip.

@megawebmaster Thank you for the tip regarding setting php global variables. I was able to figure out the issue.

Thank you for all your help.
