Add to Cart Quantity Brakes Proceed to Checkout

    Hi All,

    I have tried to add quantity to the add to cart button on the different product pages, which I have been succesful at. However, when I add the code and View Cart the “Proceed to Checkout” button doe not work and it just reloads the cart page.

    Navigating directly to Checkout at /checkout/ works, but the button in the Cart just does not work for some reason.

    I use Avada theme.

    I feel like I have used all of them with the same problem, but currently this one:

    Enable https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WP_DEBUG and see what error your causing. That shouldn’t affect cart/checkout buttons.

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for getting back so fast. The Debug doesn’t really show anything. I noticed Aveda uses a custom cart.php template where the buttons are <input> and not the ordinary ones such as proceed-to-checkout-button.php – maybe this is the reason for my troubles?

    The most odd thing is, if I remove a product from the cart using the X it starts working in Chrome and Firefox.

    It could be – why not add your code to Twenty Twelve theme and see if it goes through then?

    It works on Twenty Twelve, so it is a Avada related problem.
    And I will have to pay to get them to fix it. Great…

    Do they have any updates available? You can compare their template files to core versions if you want to spot the difference.
