    Hi !

I’m having a problem with WooCommerce (I guess it’s related to WooCommerce).

When I want to add to cart my product, it refresh the page and set 2 quantity of the product instead of one. When it’s done refreshing, I can choose an other color or size, I add to cart : this time it is not refreshing the page, it’s opening the cart panel (AJAX) with 1 quantity like it should.

I’ve got some products with the option “sell unique product only” enabled so this problem is not appearing on these products.

I’m using WPML so I’ve got my product in my default language (French) and my translated product in english, but it is doing this problem on both products.

For information, I’m using Rey Theme.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, imxaveus, I’m another WooCommerce user.

Please try using the “Health Check” plugin to diagnose the issue: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/.

In the troubleshooting tab, you can disable all plugins and have the theme changed while logged in; visitors will see the website as if the plugin(s) and/or theme wasn’t changed.

Please try deactivating all the plugins (besides WooCommerce) and/or try changing your theme to determine whether a plugin or theme configuration you have is at fault for causing your cart issue.

    Hi Ian,

Thanks for your reply. Health Check is telling me that my website is fine and there is nothing wrong.

My theme configuration is set to open the cart panel when you click to “Add to cart”. So it shouldn’t refresh the page.

    Hi @imxaveus,

I tried adding one of your products to cart, but on my side, it added 1 product to cart, not 2, that was after refreshing the product page.

However, since you mentioned that this does not happen with all products, could you try conflict testing with one of the affected products? Here’s the conflict test guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Let us know whether, when you switch to a default WP theme and disable all plugins apart from WooCommerce, the issue still persists.

    Thanks.

    Hi abwaita,

You probably tried when I disabled this option :

In my WooCommerce Theme Options, I have disabled the Add To Cart AJAX option (see this screenshot : https://zupimages.net/up/21/31/i9z4.png) , and it looks like to be working again. The problem is that now, I don’t have AJAX Cart Panel anymore lol.

    Hi @imxaveus,

In my WooCommerce Theme Options, I have disabled the Add To Cart AJAX option

Since this is a theme option, I would recommend getting in touch with the theme author to check on the issue. You seem to be using the Rey theme and can access support here: https://support.reytheme.com/new/

*Note*: The inbuilt option in WooCommerce is Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives and can be accessed via WooCommerce > Display > Products > Add to Cart Behavior. Note that this option prevents reloading after a product is added to cart on the shop page, not the product page.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Yes, I’m using Rey Theme, I posted a ticket on their support. I have an other problem of AJAX on my Contact Form 7 reloading the page after submitting the message. Perhaps it’s also related to Rey Theme.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help me. Will see with support of Rey.

    Have a great day !
