• Hi, I’m interested in adding the social media short codes to a form so that the users can simply put in their name while filling it and in the output, get an icon that links directly back to their profile.
I figure this would require some creative use of the add_action and copying the function from the php file in this plugin to the form but for some reason this doesn’t work.
    Any ideas?
NB: the form is for creating a custom post type called locations to let users upload locations to a map on the website.

I don’t at the moment. I assume you’re talking about a button in the TinyMCE interface for it. I’d have to figure out how to do that, and will keep it in mind for a future version.

Not exactly what I mean. I meant like in a registration form or in a custom post type ‘locations’. I’ve been able to make the latter work but I’m stumped on the former.
I’m using BuddyPress for social networking and Bebop which is a social media aggregator and I wanted users to be able to link their facebook profiles to their buddypress profile and have Bebop curate their content.
