Add to Gallery does not work in MLP

I did another test:

I am also not able to delete folders with the MLP.
When I delete them manualy by FTP, they still exist in MLP.
Even after a rescan

Yes, folders and their locations, like images, are stored in the database. If you manually delete a folder, MLP will not know about it. There is no rescan function; there is only the option to add new folders.

If you would like for me to look at MLP running on your site you can send me admin access, [email protected], and I’ll see if I can determine why some functions are not working.

I found that it was one plugin that was causing the add to gallery to fail. In my case it was Maxgalleria-Flicker. But you may have a different plugin causing a problem. You can try deactivating your plugins, a few at a time until you can isolate the one keeping it from adding to the gallery.

Thanks for the suggestion, I deleted all my plugins I do not need, until only Maxgalleria and my theme were left. Unfortunately, this did not work out.

Yes, I installed a copy of the same theme you are using on my test site and I was not able to add images to a gallery in MLP. Your theme is causing the problem.

I tested it to switch my site to another theme. Unfortunately it is not working with another theme too.

I tried to give my wordpress a total reset.
I made a fresh install of MaxGalleria and the Virtue theme.

Everything is now working!

I do not know what happened before, but everything works excellent!

Hi Alan,

I found the problem.
When I install the plugin “ultimate member” there is a conflict with MaxGalleria.

If you do not have or had this plugin installed, there is no problem.
Problems start with this combination of plugins.
