Add translation widget to header shopisle

Hi I’ve added a header widget area to add a translation widget.
It’s a pain because you can’t add it to the child theme as I can’t make it work because the header is in a sub directory.
Anyway I’ve added it to the area I want it bit I can’t make it sit right of the search and cart items so it appears in a line. I can add it above the logo but is pushes all the woocommerce out of wack.
It isn’t necessary to be anywhere in particular except for in the header and to not mess with the rest of the website.
Does anyone have any ideas?
