How long is too long?

I do not really know. I will do some tests.

Made in, the problem is not the url title.

If it is too long it does not work.

ok I will change it to use a short link instead of permalink in the next release.

Replace :

$url = parse_url( get_permalink( $post->ID ) );
by
$url = parse_url( wp_get_shortlink( $post->ID ) );

Unfortunately that does not work if jetpack is installed. I have an alternative, I’m testing it right now, will be in the next release which I’ll post once everything checks out.
