    Hi,

    I have an eshop that has variable products. Each product has around 300 variations, they are already set and online. Now i want to add about 50 more variations to the existing ones.
    I have tried exporting and editing the CSV file, but when i try to upload it i have to either select:

    • Update existing products -> but this way it only update the old variations and skips the new ones i created
    • Don’t update existing products -> this way it imports them as a new product so i end up with duplicate products, just that the newly inserted has the new variations i added.

    Any idea how can i do it ?
    Thanks in advance

  • Your csv file should look like this:
    Type;SKU;Parent_Product;Attribute 1 Name; Attribute 1 Value;
    Type = variation, Parent_Product = variant ID
    Select Don’t update existing products to import them as new variations

    Hello mrred07

    Thank you for contacting WooCommerce.

    I understand you wish to import additional variations into the existing product while keep the existing variations in the products.

    Could please share the CSV file you have tried to import?
    You won’t be able to upload the CSV here so please use Google Drive or a similar file sharing service.

    I had to solve a similar problem some time ago on a personal site. So if can have a look at your CSV file, I will show you how to import new variations into an existing product while keeping the old variations intact.

    Looking forward to your response. ??
