Add VAT Number in Checkout page

    Hello,

    Is it possbile to add the VAT Number in the Woocommerce Checkout page (Free)?

    Requirements:
    – Add Vat Number to fill in optionally by business customers
    – Checks whether the VAT Number is correct
    – Avoid business clients to pay VAT at the checkout

    Is there any way to add this option?

    Hi @asmadahmani,

    It is not possible to achieve what you need with just WooCommerce. But there some WooCommerce extensions to add VAT support during checkout. One such extension is EU Vat Number.

    Oké so other options besides installing this plugin?

    Another Woocommerce related question, I have in my checkout page ‘country’ as mandatory to be filled in by the customer.
    But when a customer places an order, sometimes the country shows, in Woocommerce -> orders (details), and sometimes it doesn’t?

    How can I make sure to always see the country in the order?

    There might be other plugins that provide the same functionality but I don’t know them of the top of my head. A search in WooCommerce.com or www.ads-software.com plugins repository might reveal other alternatives.
