Add Vendor name on add to cart

    How can we add Vendor name for Dokan Plugin to Rest API, we tried to add the below code to class-cocart-controller.php but it give us a fetal error

    $cart_contents[ $item_key ]['product_author'] = apply_filters( 'cocart_product_author', $_product->get_product_author(), $_product, $cart_item, $item_key );
