    Hi SuperPWA Team,

Wish you a very Happy New Year!

I want to congratulate you on building such a wonderful plugin. And, I am currently using it on my website but facing an issue.

The message (popup) that says “Add [website name] to home screen” is not appearing on all the mobile devices.

I am not aware of the reasons why it would be happening, cause I even updated my WordPress site, SuperPWA plugin etc recently. (3-4 days ago)

Could you please help me with this?

    Thanks in Advance

  • Hi,

I have the same issue, I don’t get the pop-up in my Android browser.

    Site is: https://www.kentac.org.uk/

Other than this, it is a great plug-in.

Are there any other workarounds, like having a special page to install the PWA home page and emailing it to website users?

Sorry – ignore my comment – I got my PWA plug-ins mixed up.

@jgevers what do you mean with mixed up plug ins ?

@jgevers Which PWA plugin is working for you?

I’m using Progressive WordPress (PWA). It doesn’t display the ‘Add to homescreen’ button for me either.

@jgevers Update for you – check if this plugin works for you : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/progressive-wp/
I have just installed and it seems better.

@arunbasillal I see you flagged this topic for moderator review, I’m presuming it is because there was a link added to a competing plugin?

I’m going to allow it, the topic has gone more than two weeks without any input from the plugin developer, so it’s perfectly viable that they’d look at another solution, and it was not done in a manner which indicates it’s spam or some form of advertising.

    Hello @clorith

Thanks for the reply. The reason I looked for an option was as you stated. I was curious to see what the button did and there was no going back. Sorry for the false call and thanks for your time.

Everyone – Our support is a bit backed up right now, team mates are away (health reasons) and I am not able to handle the load alone. Will be back soon. Thanks for the patience.

Hello @fauxboard10 when I checked your website I cannot even notice any indications of using our plugin. Could you please let me know once after installing it again, so that I can help you further.

Closing this thread due to lack of response. If you notice any issues in future, don’t hesitate to let us know.
