Added code to my theme and broke it.

  • I attempted to ad google’s adsense code to my theme inbetween the <head> and <head/> like the site suggested. Watched a tutorial and everything. When I added it there was an error and it said it could not update so I logged off, and when i came back my whole theme was gone! can i do anything to fix it? and any info on how to add the code w/o breaking it again?

    ps i attemped to go back and just delete the code out but when i pulled up the page it was completly empty
