• I am using the SuperNews theme for a newspaper’s website. I am having an issue with the photographs I try to put into the articles (or posts). For some reason, if I embed a photo in the body of the article, it works fine. If I try to add a caption to the photograph, it throws an extra line into the body where the photo was placed. It does not look very nice that way, and I need to find out how to fix it.

    Thank you very much,
    Mychal Wilson

I do not know if you will check links, but here is to a link to one of the pages with which I am having a problem.

  • That extra line is just the <br> tag that comes next in your html. Are you adding line-breaks yourself in the content editor? If so, you probably want to use paragraphs instead.

I am not adding any line breaks and no & or HTML code shows that there is a break. I don’t know what is causing the break, but I am not putting it in there myself. It automatically appears when I try to put a caption with any photograph except for the one at the top.

You must’ve made a change because it seems to have cleared up for now. Also the opening paragraphs are no longer improperly enclosed in the image-link tag.
