Hello, I had a smooth install and was able to add my first listing as a test. I saved it and went to view page and it comes up with a “page not found” using the default wordpress theme

This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.

I can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong, I re-saved the permalink settings but still cannot find the page.

    Thank you!

By the way, I saw the other post about this and the proposed solution doesn’t work for me. Any other ideas/

    My URL example is

    https://examplewebsite.com/listings/nameoflisting
Which goes to page not found

I think I see the problem here.

On your example website the URL is /listing/ not /listings/ for the individual page, but for me the default URL for individual pages is /listings/ and it doesn’t work any other way.

I figured this out, you might have a typo in your default files for your newest release.

In your plugin, Directory > settings >

You had both the “Taxonomy Slug” and the “Post Type Slug” as “listings”

    Taxonomy Slug should be “Listings”
Post Type Slug should be “Listing”

I think this is fixed, but please verify I am right.
