Installed New Theme; Accidentally deleted theme folder! What are my options?

  • I added this theme MH Purity lite 1.1.0 and made a few changes after installing and attempted to publish the changed settings. Nothing happened and the website went blank/offline and can no longer access anything (admin-panel, zero functions working)

    My entire website has been taken offline.

    I ended up deleting the installed theme folder instead of changing the name, what do I do now? what are my options? or am I boned, and need to reinstall?

    As it turns out my entire website is down due to my webhost being down for some reason……. I ended up destroying my site with my hands in the end.

    If you still have a /wp-content/themes/ folder with Twenty Fifteen in it, WordPress should switch to that when your site comes back up. If you do not have a /themes/ folder, just make one and then upload a copy of Twenty Fifteen into it and then any other theme also and you should be fine.
