Added password to .htaccess now cannot access admin

    Hello.
    So, you just forgot your password that you entered there? In any case – try to delete .htaccess file from wp-admin folder – that should help.

    No I didn’t forget.
    It just broke the site once I saved it.
    I deleted .htaccess but nothing worked.
    the /wp-admin showed 404 error.
    I tried everything and finally decided to delete my whole site and used a complete back from a month before.
    I am not going to use that option again but I don’t know what happened.

    It was actually the checkbox next to ” Regular admin change passwords” to be exact.
