Added to Cart Notification on Archive Page

When adding a product to the cart while viewing the product, it gives a notification at the top of the page. When adding the product right from the product archive pages, it does nothing but change the amount in the cart total on the menu. Is there a way to display a message telling customers their product was added to the cart from this view? Thanks.
